Socially Distanced Trans Clothing Alterations
Let’s face it - it’s hard to find clothes that fit trans bodies. That’s why KCCI is offering FREE alterations to our trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming family at the Center on Sunday, Nov 15th between 3pm - 5pm!

Every participant can bring one piece of clothing to have altered. Our tailors, seamstresses, and sewing specialists will measure you, take your garment, and within a month you’ll be set up with a fabulous new fit.  We'll email you when your article is ready for pickup at the Center.

By signing up for KCCI's "Trans Clothing Alterations" event, you acknowledge that the clothing alterations will be handled by volunteers.  The Kansas City Center for Inclusion is not responsible for any damage, loss, or inaccurate alterations.

Please be available between 3:00pm and 5:00pm on November 15th.  We will email you with further details regarding which time slot you've been assigned.  Please feel free to bring two (2) or three (3) garments so you and the alteration volunteer can determine which one (1) article best fits their expertise.  We will email you when the garment alteration has been completed, please expect this work to take up to thirty (30) days to complete.
